Epiophlebia superstes （Odonata Anisozygoptera Epiophlebia superstes family）
Epiophlebia superstes is a species of dragonfly that is native to Japan. Epiophlebia superstes have both features of fellow (Zygoptera) and dragonflies such as the red dragonfly (Anisoptera). Larvae can only live in clean mountain streams and eat aquatic insects on the riverbed stones. Larval period is long, life span is from 7 to 8 years.
