Nature in Futakuchi
Glacial Apollo or Japanese clouded Apollo （Papilionacea Parnassiinae）
Adults are seen at the end of April to May every year. They fly slowly in open areas over the grass near trees.
Habitat area has been growing due to increasing logging areas in recent years.
The larva usually eat Corydalis incisa, Corydalis decumbent and Corydalis ambigua.
